We here, at The Turntable Factory, always have turntables in stock for sale to the general public. Here's how we usually sell our turntables:
As a general rule, no in-stock turntable is "ready to go", unless it is at auction. We ask that you tell us what features you want in a machine.... such as which speeds, what type of drive, what type of automation (if any), and a price range. Sometimes, we may ask YOU questions in order to determine suitability of a machine if you're not sure what you need or want. Armed with that information, we can then give you a list of what is CURRENTLY in stock, along with a price. All of our stacking changers are refurbished or rebuilt. All manual to fully automatics are refurbished. All will have had any necessary parts replaced, such as belts, headshells and drive wheels. Cartridges and stylii are brand-new, unless there are some special circumstances. Each turntable, here at The Turntable Factory, is unique, inasmuch as they are not new and have different histories, so each will need specific servicing. We will tell you exactly what a machine needs before it can leave for it's new home. A turntable is NOT made ready until an order is placed for it. Then, it goes into service, and is made as-new especially for you. As a rule, turntables are not sold on an as-is basis. All rebuilt or refurbished turntables come with a 30 day warranty, which includes shipping costs involved for if it needs to be serviced. We don't stick to a time-frame on warranty repairs, we will repair any defects within a "reasonable" amount of time after the 30 days, but you pick up the shipping costs. We welcome walk-ins, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, call if you'd like to see our stock in person. PLEASE NOTE: As our stock is constantly changing, and we can have from 50 to 100 turntables on-hand at any given time, it would be impossible maintain an up-to-date on-line list of what is available. What was here yesterday, may be gone today... and, what we DIDN'T have two days ago, we may have now!
