Overview of "The Turntable Factory"

We specialize in the repair, rebuilding and restoration of VINTAGE record changers. From a 50's V-M, to a 60's Garrard, to a 70's Dual....I work on them all! As these changers age, their most frequent problems arise from hardened grease on the moving parts. Just spraying a penetrant onto those few parts will solve the problem only for a short time. Sometimes, the whole machine must be totally dissassembled, each part cleaned in solvents, then reassembled, lubricated and adjusted. That is sometimes the only way to insure many more years of use. Here at The Turntable Factory, our emphasis is on stacking record changers, as well as the basic low-to-mid priced single play turntables. We usually aren't able to "cater" to the "audiophile" looking for an "esoteric" turntable in the $1,000 and up "class". We also don't get into the arguments about turntables that have been raging for the last 30+ years, such as type of drive, degree of automation, type of tonearm and so on. Here, at The Turntable Factory, "the cook eats here". In other words, we don't "sell" an item unless it's something we'd be proud to own ourselves. We are not profit motivated. We're just as happy to help someone else keep a machine alive by giving free advice, as we are in making a sale. This website is meant more to educate than to sell.
If you have a turntable that is not functioning, or functioning poorly.....OR if you just won one on auction and received it just to find out that it doesn't function correctly, SEND IT TO US!! We're your PLACE!!! Whether it is a simple repair, or a TOTAL rebuild/restoration, we can do it! We have a great stock of, and connections for, parts....including idler wheels, belts, headshells, spindles, cartridges. If you still want to stack and play those old 45's or 78's, I can help, AND do it for a reasonable price. We don't charge for a bench check, so it only costs you for the shipping. We can usually give you a good idea when you e-mail us with the symptoms. We also check our e-mail FREQUENTLY, and answer PROMPTLY and IN DETAIL. Unless we are away, an answer is less than a few hours away! Also, check our eBay auctions as quite often we have refurbished ones for sale there. We are very conservative in rating condition. We tend to use the 1 to 10 scale, as well. So, if we say an item is mint, then we mean that it looks like it just came out of the box!

JUST SOME OF THE MULTITUDE OF OUR STOCK AWAITING OUR ATTENTION!

***We have a supply of new, old stock replacement stylii for not only some of the more popular cartridges, but some of the obscure ones as well. These are for MAGNETIC and CERAMIC type cartridges. We may have that one you've been searching all over for!***
